I'm wondering; where are the 17 jewels?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you

BDC, you've got me wondering if you're joshing. They are used to make nearly frictionless bearings or pivot points for the axles. I'm no watch authority but I see 7 of them. Better movements were 21 jewels, and (uncommonly), 23.

No O_D I was not joshing but I was looking for jewels on the face plate, I didn't think about being used as bearings or pivoting point. I looked at the picture of the inside of the watch and noticed some string of blue fabric in there.
