Saw this one in person, Silver Spring, NV.

http://reno.craigslist.org/cto/4060997638.html

Good solid car but I think 3K would be more like it.
Some trim was off due to what looked like an old quicky repaint, car didn't look like it had been driven in some time. Dirty interior, motor, some minor perforation in the driver's floor but overall, straight & clean. Can't remember how clean the chrome was. Power windows. 5K would be an extremely generous offer.
Happy Hunting!

Would aftermarket front disk brakes fall into this category?
And the 56 rear end, is it a Dana 44, what Dana parts fit?
Also Jack, I would love to learn about the performance capabilities of the heads.

It looks like I am talking to the right guys.
I am seriously trying to avoid building me a Packard but it is an addiction that I fight, making the car that one wants.
My search has turned up all sorts of cool "opportunities" & perhaps I will end up with a builder or two, mix & match & sell what is left?? (rest assured guys, I am not one of those tasteless car assassins...
The market is full of great cars that need everything
though the economics will have you upside down in a car pretty fast.

Does anybody know if a 2 door & a 4 door clipper will swap frames? That is, could a good body be swapped onto great running gear. This goes for a 2/4 door Senior car too.
I suspect drive shafts or body mount issues could arise but it seems like the 2 & 4 doors shared wheel bases on both the Junior & Senior cars..

Newbie here, Packard shopping.

I have been lurking the Packard sites for a while & this looks like the home I have been searching for. That is: Less Brass cars but people that drive Packards and are not afraid to "enhance" their cars.
My dream car is a '56 Exec but am looking at any & all 55&56 2 doors. The '56 seems the most attractive to me as they have the Dana & the Clippers have the taillights.
I had been hot for a 57-58 Pontiac but now it has to a Packard.
Please see my post in the tor sale section.
