All, I need a bulb listing for my 53 Clipper. Interior door bulbs and instrument in particular. Also where are these available? Just left local parts store and they had zip as far as 6 volt. Thanks in advance. Steve

Thank you sir. This is better than I had expected. I have the whole assy. Just wasn't sure if it mounted before or after oil pressure assy. Steve

My 53 Clipper is about to be repainted. I am responsible for broke. Clips and any hardware removed and in need of repair during this process. As well, all rubber in doors, hood, trunk & windows being replaced. Where are good places to look for these parts and pieces?

My bumpers need to be rechromed as well. Looking at 1200 bucks right there. Are there outlets for the chrome pieces on these cars? Thinking about after market supplies. Thanks. Steve

I am adding an oil filter to my 53 Clipper. I know the supply line taps into the oil pressure switch. Would somebody please send a picture of that connection to me ? Thanks in advance. Steve

Wondering about those black plugs still. Since it is running better? did you look at them again? I have a 53 288 that seems to be pretty strong but starts missing somewhat at 60 - 65 in overdrive. Especially, when going up a hill, seems to miss. I haven't done near the investigation you have, but after reading all the things you went through I have a good idea what I will look for. I just had the carb rebuilt and it has new plugs, points and all that. Need to check the timing and if it advances. Havent check the vacuum either. Don't you just like this site? steve

Thank you sir. I meant wire from sending unit. I will try that later in the week. Partially installed an oil filter canister today. Just need to add supply line and the actual filter.

Looking for mor advice. Grounded tank and made no difference to fuel gauge. Somebody told me if I took power wire from pump and grounded it, the gauge would read full? Is there a fuse?

Thanks for the quick responses. Not sure if I have a leak or not. Car sat for about three months and needed the master cylinder refilled in order to have substantial pedal. Once I know that answer I will purge what's in there for Dot 4.
