55 Packard Script & Medalion & or Emblem Colors?
Home away from home
Home away from home

Kevin AZ
A little help is appreciated. Does anyone know of a source that can definitively tell me what the proper colors are for all script adorning 1955 400 HT's?

Packard (modern looking script) - in rear quarter panels?
Packard (older cursive script) - RR of trunk lid?
The Four Hundred - forward of both front doors?
"V"'s found on cathedral tail lamps?
"V"'s found with medallion on rear roof pillars?
Packard letters found on front of engine hood?\

Did I miss any?

Help appreciated?

Eric (Turbopacman),

Per a telephone conversation this morning with CraigH, he will graciously rescind his offer to host this 'gala' again, should there be other ad-hoc PV8C members or PV8C members to be who wish to host such an event outside of southern Nevada. Eric, you indeed may be correct that moving the host site around the country could make the club's membership grow! So, if someone out there is interested, please self-identify and then post us about your interest and correspond with Eric via PM for further information.

Ivory engine built in Pahrump Nevada last year (5/2006) by KevinAZ with very direct oversight of Craig Hendrickson (www.1956packardpanther.com) immediately after Packard V-8 Club Meet. Chevy red-colored engine was what it looked like prior to disasembly. (Keep working on your Packards People!)

No Eric, Pahrump again if enough interest is shown.

2nd Annual Packard V-8 Club Meeting

Ladies and gents,

I'm just testing the waters after a long telephone with Craig Hendrickson about the possibility of convening another Packard V-8 Club meeting in beautiful Pahrump Nevada in mid-May 2007.

If seriously interested please post to this thread. Craig graciously indicates that his home in Pahrump can again be the hub of the meet, but it would be helpful to see if people are again interested?

Topics are open for discussion too!

My side marker (courtesy lights) just arrived from Joel Ray in Michigan. They are beautiful & perfect! Anyone wishing to replace theirs should drop Joel a line. I was referred to Joel via Minnesota Mike Dulinski in Duluth.
