Ladies and gents,

I'm just testing the waters after a long telephone with Craig Hendrickson about the possibility of convening another Packard V-8 Club meeting in beautiful Pahrump Nevada in mid-May 2007.

If seriously interested please post to this thread. Craig graciously indicates that his home in Pahrump can again be the hub of the meet, but it would be helpful to see if people are again interested?

Ivory engine built in Pahrump Nevada last year (5/2006) by KevinAZ with very direct oversight of Craig Hendrickson (www.1956packardpanther.com) immediately after Packard V-8 Club Meet. Chevy red-colored engine was what it looked like prior to disasembly. (Keep working on your Packards People!)

Well, as far as I know, the location is still up for grabs.

Per a telephone conversation this morning with CraigH, he will graciously rescind his offer to host this 'gala' again, should there be other ad-hoc PV8C members or PV8C members to be who wish to host such an event outside of southern Nevada. Eric, you indeed may be correct that moving the host site around the country could make the club's membership grow! So, if someone out there is interested, please self-identify and then post us about your interest and correspond with Eric via PM for further information.

You all don't have to contact me, I'm not the boss of PV8C. It's just that the last time I knew, the location was still up for grabs, and some members were wanting a more central location for this year's meet. I'm just looking out for the best interest of the club here. If anyone has a place and a project to donate this year, then speak up, or Craig's gonna have to donate his couch again this year!

The Perrysburg weekend dates have been moved to the third weekend in May (18-20th). We could have a Great Lakes region V-8 hootenanny there!

A regional get-together of PV8C members sounds like a good idea. It's about a 3-1/2 hour drive to Perrysburg for me. Weather permitting and barring any health crises with my folks, I should be there Saturday.

Of course, I'm sure some of us will get together again for a day at Warren in July.

Those events shouldn't detract from any plans for a PV8C National meet.

Having regional Packard V8 Club meeting sounds like a great idea fellas. It should be a very fun Packard summer for all!
