Nice work Tim! i just got my car successfully running off the fuel tank, no more beer bottle substitute high above my head :P very rewarding. Best of luck with testing the sending unit, keep us posted! :)

Hey David and PackardV8, thanks for the info... haven't found anyone locally yet but am still searching. I wen't to that feed and read through, some good stuff in there- much appreciated. I live out in a rural area and there aren't many places that specialize in rads but i'm staying optimistic :)

Hey Fellas!
I've hit a snag in my resto project (1951 Packard 200 Deluxe Touring Sedan). I finally got the ol' girl running, but noticed she's got a leak in the rad. Got it priced out to replace the core- $700.00, WHOA! What're my other options. Can I retrofit this? Purchase one cheaper elsewhere? SOS - Hollybeth xo
