Hello Ron, just wanted to say as a metalshaper of 27 years (worked at RM Classic Cars for 10) the way to go about fabricating the Boattail is the same way the Auburn was made. The top part can be made in one or two pieces, splitting the top 2/3rds from the front section. The sides can be made again in one or two pieces, sectioning the sides halfway virtically is your best bet. To have a pullmax, a planishing hammer, and a wheel, or powerhammer for the fabrication would be nice. . . but hard to find. Good Luck.
