Hey Guys,

I really do not drive my Clipper much and should part ways with it. What would the price range be for one in decent shape, stock with 4 new tires, electronic ignition, new door cards and new recovered seats? Mileage is 46,xxx. I have had this one for 12 years.

It does go through two holes in the frame, no fitting in the end, probably should be one. That end that looks like it should have a fitting is serrated. I'm guessing it has internal snap rings. That helps a bunch.

Hi Guys,

I'm doing a complete brake job on my Clipper. Manual brakes. With the master cylinder out the pedal should move freely but it is stiff. I would like to pull the pin it rotates on so I could clean it up but cannot figure out how to do it. Does any one have any experience with this?

Does anyone recall the size of the rear axle pinion nut on one of these?

I need to replace the pinion oil seal and 1 1/2 inch is too big, 1 1/4 inch is too small. I'm thinking 1 3/8 maybe???

Thanks!

Fantastic! Clips came right off. Will soak the bearings with PB Blaster then pull those on out.

Hey Guys,

I cannot find much info on this so here it goes... I'm replacing the pinion shaft seal so I figured I would replace the rear universal at the same time.

The two universal bearings on the rear axle side come out easy once the slip key is removed. The two on the drive shaft show no snap ring or lock key so I have no idea how to pull or press them out.

Can anyone help me with this? I cannot find anything in the service manual about this setup.

Whew! That was a job. The oil pan was actually semi clean. Everything looked good as a spun it by hand and looked up into the engine so I sealed it back up, added some oil and gas and she fired up with no problems. Well, one problem, I think the carb float is stuck so I'll tear it down for a rebuild.

That's one smooth running engine.
