Thanks Owen. I spoke with SMS and they found Mr Book's order and say they can replicate it. Yea!!! I believe the pick of the samples that someone posted may be from his order.

Question: I have heard that the tops were padded, however the previous owner says his was not. Just the vinyl. He thinks it was original. The previous owner said the old seams were stitched and thus leaked.

Does anyone know if most of them were padded? Also, what would you add for padding...just another layer of vinyl? Someone commented that the old ones had felt under the vinyl.

Thanks for the info Owen. I have been in contact with them and they don't seem to know anything about the Caribbean. I supplied them the color codes for the car and they were going to send me samples. I was worried about the seams as well. I will ask for Chuck!

Thanks guys. I tried again last night and the sns website was working. Looks like it was just down for some reason yesterday. I didn't see anything listed but they look like they may have something so I will call them.

None if the sms links work. I googled them and they seem to have a website, perhaps its just down.

Sorry, I think I wasn't clear. Its a Caribbean Hardtop. I think you are talking about the convertible tops. I have found the convertible tops but can't seem to find replacement vinyl for the Hardtop.

Would the place you suggested have the Hardtop vinyl?

Hello everyone, I am new to this site.

The Vinyl top was removed from a 1956 Packard Caribbean by the previous owner and I can't seem to find anyplace that sells the factory vinyl. Do I need to just get something close? I would like to get a perfect match if possible. Any suggestions?
