Hum that interesting. My 53 is a senior car and the car I pulled the jack from was also a senior car. I'm new to this site and have not figured out yet how to post a picture of the jack I have. I do agree with the use of the jack. We are all about keeping the car original and the bigger purpose is for car shows.

Does any one have a good clear picture of a original silver dash and clock gauge set up. Working on a 41 super8 with some mixed gauge colors. Trying to determine what is actually "silver" Book only shows bronze and silver as super8 options. I have plenty of good examples of the bronze.

Thank you so much! The pictures and dimensions are a big help. That's a very interesting article on the sticky valves. I know the the 41-42 cars and the 356 powered clippers used this. Did the 48-50 356 packards use this?

I have a 1941 Packard I'm working on. It's a senior car with the 356 engine. I'm trying to find the part number or group number on the tube that's bolted to the head, and directs air from the fan to the oil fill cap. Only the 356 had this. I have looked in the parts book but can not come up with it. Can anyone help me?
