If you cannot find a factory tube from someone with a parts engine they are easy to make. I made one that had less height and different bends so it would mount on a plate holding the relocated oil filter and fit under a custom AC compressor bracket.
As I recall tubing was a straight length of steel exhaust pipe that was available as some kind of exhaust repair piece from O'Reilly. Straps were made from common hardware store flat metal.

Thank you so much! The pictures and dimensions are a big help. That's a very interesting article on the sticky valves. I know the the 41-42 cars and the 356 powered clippers used this. Did the 48-50 356 packards use this?

You might check the Service Index via the link on the left menu and review other prewar articles on condensation and valve sticking issues. Make sure your engine has the best filler cap and tube combinations. There were some prior revisions to those in addition to Packard later adding the horizontal tube to alleviate air flow issues caused by the oil filter canister.
While there you might also look at articles on intermittent noisy hydraulic lifters because the oil filter and its supply tubing were also revised several times during 41-2.
