No Partition, and the side door is huge. So I'd say a combo. Has the rolling rack in back. Beautiful dash and steering wheel. Interesting having a 51 grill. It's titled as a 52.

Surprising to see a commercial car in such good condition not owned by a collector. Maybe the business owner is one though and the car is used for publicity etc.

Stopped in today. Owner was happy to let me take a few pics. Although I would of loved to hear it's been in the family since it was new, but no. They bought it off ebay about 6 years ago. They use it in parades, trick or trunk gatherings, and occasionally, a funeral. Cheers.

Are the rocker trims in good condition and do they have the attaching clips?

Passenger side in very good shape, with just the one ding, right at the very front. Passenger has some soft bends to it. Considering how much dirtier it is, and how much more deteriorated the clips are, I'd say as the car sunk, the ground literally pushed it off the car, tweaking it in the process. I suppose with patience, it could be straightened.
There's 10 to 12 clips in more or less the same condition as in the pic.
Cheers.

Thanks BH. You do like your 56's.

Dug these out as well. So far, everything out of this car has been Packard related. Don't recognize these unless they are rocker trim, or from a different model. Again, let me know if any interest. Cheers.

Digging through the trunk today. Seems there's some trim pieces that's not from this car. Among them, this interior door trim. Google suggests they are from at least a Caribbean. All four pieces appear straight. Barbs on the back of top pieces are mostly rusted off. I cleaned a small area. See pic. Cleans up nice.
Let me know if any interest.
Cheers.

I've done it before and funny how fast their demeanor changes. From quiet, morose, somber to very friendly and talkative almost in one breath!

Makes sense. An opportunity to step out of their very disciplined positions.

I have to make several trips past this car in the next few weeks. I'll attempt to get some close-up pics, and perhaps some background. I've thumbed through the latest edition of "Funeral Home Ethics" There doesn't seem to be a chapter on knocking on their door to ask if I can look at their hearse. Seems I'm in new territory.

I know this isn't the place to post this. Just didn't want to start a new thread just for a single pic.
Ran across this in a small town outside of Kansas City over the weekend. This is parked behind a functioning funeral home. I'm sure it could tell stories.
53ish? Cheers.

Thought I'd list a few specific items to see if there's any interest. Will start with the skirts.
Pair without trim - one junk. Other usable, $12.
Pair with trim, very usable. Will need some metal work on the lips due to rust. End trims pitted, but straight. One has some road rash. Center long pieces in excellent condition. No dings. $45. And of course + shipping. More pics upon request.
Cheers.
