Good Day Packrds,

I am working on finding the pieces I need to get the hood operational.

I Do not have the bracket and rods that run down the middle of the hood.

I have 46 1/8 “ inches between the center holes where the brackets get mounted to the front of the hood and the firewall

I have both sides of the hoods
I have two latches,
I have the brackets and hardware that goes from the latch up and I have the rods that go on the outside of the hood

Thanks Flackmaster I have a bracket that is very similar. & I believe that will work.
The problem I have is the linkages are different

Has anyone come across this before?

Is it worth modifying ?

or should I focus on getting the exact part?

Also, I am still missing the Vertical that goes up to the carburetor

WANTED 1941 six cylinder bell crank for carburetor linkage

good day fellow old schoolers

I am looking for the shorter carburetor, linkage that goes from the carburetor down to the bell crank

I’m also looking for the bell crank ( that is the piece that clips onto the exhaust manifold
It transfers the horizontal linkage that comes from the firewall up to the carburetor linkage)
