This is another type available in 1937 but they are pretty rare.

I used an adhesive powder with hardner called "Q-Bond". Good stuff!! Available at most auto parts stores.

This is an original 37 120 Conv. Coupe invoice that I can across years ago, figured I'd share it for viewing. Looks like Prestone was a little pricey back in the day.

It's die cast pot metal but I believe the top piece is steel.

Yes, count me in, I'd like the stayfast top/solid. Straight side zippers, and the 4 pads if that's what is needed. I'd purchase a boot if that's available also? My car is black and I like the looks of a tan top, so I would want a tan top. I'm assuming the stayfast fabric is the same as a Haartz fabric? I have 3 tan color samples of Haartz fabrics with style numbers so I could provide that if it's helpful.

Yes, that is the tank I'm considering, I didn't see any other vendors reproducing them?

Figured I'd add to the bad gas discussion, instead of green I have red. Since I got my car running fairly decent recently, I decided to hook up the cars gas tank as I was running it on a 2-1/2 gallon independent gas tank. About 3-1/2 years ago I coated the inside of the cars gas tank with a gas tank sealer called "Red Kote". I followed the instructions on the can 100% to the "T" and it had a lot of time to cure! So after I installed and hooked up the tank this is what I see in my fuel filter. I flooded the car a few times on start up and put a catch basin under the intake manifold drain tube and it doesn't look too pretty, looks scary and potential future problems! The 'Red Kote" sealer is dissolving. So I'm thinking about purchasing a reproduction gas tank that I see are now available on the internet. I was wondering if anyone has purchased one of these repro. tanks and do they fit okay, decent quality etc. ? The car is a 37 "120", tried to upload a photo but doesn't seen to be working but believe me it's red gas!

Great, thanks for the info., guess it's working as intended. It is a wierd setup having the switch in the left position to have the instrument lights on but it's all working so thats good! I also wired the original 1937 radio in the car yesterday and it is working as well, sounds good!
