Thanks guys, I had thought that they were the same company but wasn't sure. Sounds like they are good quality and easy enough to work with. Thanks for the help!

Hey Big Kev do you recall the manufacturer of those pans. The ones I saw on E-bay look very similar to yours. I think they were made by ClassicParts4U. That is what was printed across the picture on E-bay. Thanks

I am looking for front floor pans for 1955 Clipper Custom 4 Dr Sedan. I have seen some on E-bay and was wondering about the fit and quality of them. Does anyone know of a good vendor for replacement floor pans? Thanks.

Since my last name is Packard I thought I should own one!! I often told my wife and children that some day I would buy a '55 Packard (the year I was born). So when the chance came along I took it. I was never really that much of a "car guy" but since purchasing my Clipper Custom I enjoy working on it and bringing it back to her former glory. It is such fun to drive, I don't know how many times I have gotten the "thumbs up" from guys on Harleys and others while driving the Clipper!! I am also intrigued by the history behind Packard. They are just a fun car to own and drive!

When was my Clipper "born"?

I am trying to find out when my '55 Clipper Custom Sedan rolled off the line at Conner Ave. in 1955. After much searching in different places on the car I have never located the build sheet anywhere. I do know that the engine block and heads were cast in June of '55 and the numbers match the VIN. The last four digits in the VIN are 7889 so it was fairly late in the run for Clipper Custom since there were just over 8K built. Anyone with a Clipper Custom that has a VIN close to mine that knows when their car came off the line?

Recently met Mike at the swap meet in Fredrick, Maryland. My wife got to talking with Mike and asked if he had fender skirts to fit our 1955 Clipper Custom. He didn't have any along with him that day but after we got home I sent him a couple of e-mails and he located a pair at home. I received them today in the mail. Very reasonable price and nice condition. If you every need parts, especially '55 or '56 check with Mike, he probably has it.

Glad you folks are OK. I saw the coverage on the Weather Channel this afternoon and when they showed those trailers flying a couple hundred feet in the air I was stunned. I was wondering how you guys were doing. Be carefull down there.
