1949 Super 8 4 door sedan vent window removal

Can anyone please give me some guidance on removing the vent windows from a 1949 4 door sedan? Chrome is terribly pitted, I want to have them re-chromed, but I can't get them out of the car! Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
