I hear you guys and agree. Unfortunately it's his car and he set on doing this. Wants to drive the car cross country and back on a regular basis (coast to coast). His thinking is small chevy will be easier to find parts for on the road. Thanks and good luck to all in the new year

A customer has brought us a 1937 Packard 4 door sedan. He has asked us to install a small block chevy with automatic trans for power. Wondering if there is anyone out there who has done this swap before. We'd appreciate any information or pointers regarding this swap anyone can offer. Thanks in advance for the leg up and happy new year to everyone.
