Kind of a dumb question but I figured I'd ask before I tore somthing up. How do I get them off? I took the nut off of the end and adjusted the shoes back but they won't budge. Guessing I need a puller of some sort or do I just beat on them? Maybe a little heat?
Thanks Alot
Joe

I would really like to just use what I have. With money being tight though what's my best choice? To be honest I haven't had a whole lot of time to look thru all the topics that came up on the search. I will try to get back at it in the morning. Pretty sure that kanter offers a rebuild kit though

Relax I was just asking what my best option would be. I should have used the search function first. Sorry again for that

I have a 54 patrician with a treadle vac power brake system. I've had it fail on me a couple of times. Had to pump the pedal to get it back. It hasn't been rebuilt and I was wondering what my best option is here. Is there a safer replacement
Thanks alot
Joe

I have a '54 patrician and after I cleaned all of the grime off of the engine and trans it revealed a copperish, gold paint on both. Is this factory? If not what color is?
Thanks
Joe

My 54 patrician has them on one side. Appears to be from the factory
