Upholstery Shop Recommendations? (Texas)
#1

Hi,

I'm looking for an upholstery shop to do the interior of a 1930 733. Does anyone have any recommendations in Texas? It seems like it's pretty hard to find a really good upholsterer who can do a car like this, but they must be out there.

Thanks!

Interesting. This does also have carpet. But underneath there is plywood and tacked onto the plywood was a canvas-like fabric. Though, I think we've found some material.

(Sorry for the delayed reply - going to change my notification settings right now. :) )

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm looking for a source for the canvas that is tacked to the plywood floor sections of a 1930 733. Or at least a good search term? I've had no luck searching around so far, so thought it might be best to ask!

Thank you!

Tropic Aire Heater

Hi,

We have a 1930 Packard with a Tropic-Aire Heater. As you can see from the picture, the frame is quite broken and missing pieces. I've managed to find 3 pictures of it on the entire Internet and none of them are very detailed.

Does anyone have a picture we could look at? Or a spare frame? I'm going to see about having a new one made, but finding an intact one would be even better.

Thanks!

Thank you everyone!

I wish I could register in the Owner Registry. :) I'm asking for Tom, who I work with and who is already registered with his 1930. Sigh. . . someday.

I will start looking based on your recommendations and report back. Thanks again!

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some jute fabric. I found a picture and part number here. Does anyone know where I could find this?

Thank you!
