Here are some pics of the right fender off and the interior mostly out. Its time to do some scraping and grinding inside to get the floor clean. Then its time to fix the drivers floor.

Well after reading a few of these blogs i have decided i will share my day to day work on my packard. I had never really heard of packards because you just dont see that many driving around. I had been looking for a project car for a little while when i saw the one i have now on craigslist. It was in the barter section so i decided to offer up my fishing boat for it. So me and the gentleman talked and i made the 45min drive north to caldonia wi to see it. When i saw it i knew i wanted it. It was still sitting on the trailer he picked it up on so i threw him the idea of letting the trailer go with the car. He agreed so i became a packard owner. The car is complete with everything needed for a good restore. Im not doing a frame off restore im cleaning it up and making it a safe reliable driver. Im doing all new interior. Im doing the entire front clip by removing the fenders, already have one removed, so i can clean and repaint everything up there. Im sending all the outer chrome pieces out for recrhome since they show the age. The fuel system needs to be redone and i have alreadt started that. I need to do some rust repair to the driver side floor as in repair i mean replace its gone lol. The rest of the car is really rust free even the frame is in great shape. So i will post pictures as i go along. I also work on another packard engine its in a P51 mustang a packard built rolls royce merlin so ill have to get some pics of that for you packard enthusiest.

Thanks for the reply. That schematic Is what i was looking for i was looking in the service manual not the parts breakdown i will have to look through that. Also you wouldnt happen to know where the third line coming out of the glass filter goes i have a fitting and no line attached coming out the side of the bowl. I know one comes in and the other to the carb but unless thats a water or sediment drain and it is installed wrong sideways i cant see its purpose.

Hi guys im a new packard owner just picked up a 51 200 deluxe touring. The guy before me has the gas tank out and the fuel lines are all missing from the pump to the carb and tank to the pump. Does anyone have a picture on here of the correct routing from the tank to the pump and pump to the carb. Also was the fuel line from the tank to the engine bay a hard line or a flex line.
