I replaced the head gasket on my 1927 six, I notice that the previous owner tried to use a modern type thermostat in the housing, it was a 160 degree unit, but it doesn't fix correctly between the baffle and housing. and it was installed upside down. The only way that they could make it fit. does anyone have an option for the six cylinder thermostat? should I not run one.

Need a modern day plug for my 1928 533. Can I use a Motorcraft TT10 plug? Someone suggested I use a Champion 518 or W18, but the tread depth is 1/16" longer. The current plug is a AC46.
