If it is overheating in that short of time first make sure the fan is not bolted on backwards.Yes I have actually seen that with my own eyes.Make sure vacumn advance is working and engine timing is correct.
Still overheating check w/p impeller condition and that it doesn't slip on the shaft.If you have the w/p off pull the water distribution tube out of the block and check condition.I have also seen so much rust in the cooling cavities that it stopped up enough of the passage ways from block to head to cause this also.

If no one else is interested I would certainly appreciate the contact info to buy the car.I have always wanted this model to restore.I have the ability to do most of it myself.So if no other takers and if the auto is for sale I would appreciate it!

If you go with 7:50 they will not fit in the fender wells.

Yes I do have all the parts I just removed them to clean and detail the engine while the manifolds were being porcelain coated.

I just used the term standard to refer to the small eight.I did not look it up to find proper terminology.
No I do not think you have the numbers.I CERTAINLY APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT ! Also thanks to Mr Cole.
