I got this car without any moldings to put the vinyl on the top of the car. Has any one ever made there own, as that is what im getting ready to do. The vinyl wraps around it, so does not need to be chrome or look nice. I plan to use 1 1/4 wide 1/8inch flat stock and round the corners. Spot weld #10 X 2" machine screws threw the wood and counter the hole a little where the nut goes on to leave the bottom smooth. Then have the head liner put in. Owen, Thank you for your time to look this up. Are the number's used, the engine number or the number on the fire wall plate. As mine on the plate is 4I03 Four, I, O, 3, does the I represent a One. If so does that tell us that it is largest number found so far... Thanks for all of you help again. Even 4K is not very many compared to the overall unit's made that year. Ted

I am being told that there were 25 two door touring coupes made in 1937. And fewer made in 1936. I still have only found the six including mine. Thanks Ted

Sorry, If im posting in the wrong spot. I talked to Rick Sladen again today at a car show here in Las Vegas. He gave me Joe Hopkins name with the 35 to 37 year models. I have a 36 120B 2dr Touring Coupe Model 994, and i have found seven others, that i have listed in my computor, totaling eight two doors, just trying to get a better handle on just how many two door 120B were made back then. Understand about 25 units in 1937 and less in 1936. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Ted n Vegas

Yes it is. I have eight cars and I will sell seven of them. I have no more room. If I buy another car, I must sell some thing to make room. The new price on the Packard is 32K, it will be going up more as I continue doing work on it, as I am putting disc brakes in the front and air conditioning. As it will be my cruiser. I have a 1936 model 120B 2r. Touring Coupe. series 14, body is a 994. I under stand that there was mostly four door sedan's made, as they were the biggest seller. I have been told that very few 2dr. Touring Coupe's were made, is there any way to find out how many made in that year...Thanks in advance for any help....Ted
