I got this car without any moldings to put the vinyl on the top of the car. Has any one ever made there own, as that is what im getting ready to do. The vinyl wraps around it, so does not need to be chrome or look nice. I plan to use 1 1/4 wide 1/8inch flat stock and round the corners. Spot weld #10 X 2" machine screws threw the wood and counter the hole a little where the nut goes on to leave the bottom smooth. Then have the head liner put in. Save a lot of fabrication, if i could find the right molding. Thanks Ted gasserted@yahoo.com 702-236-9893

Have you looked in the Restoration Supply cataloghttp://www.restorationstuff.com They carry top material and some metal moldings. I don't know if they were used on tops but vinyl and various other material Hide-em welting products are carried by many upholstery supply places.
