Well the owner told me it was a fiberglass "add on". This car is on ebay right now. Looked kinda cool to me at first but I'm not into customizing something that is already beautiful and original. Thanks for all of the "right on" inputs though. Paul.

Was a Packard 110 convertible with a boattail design released for 1940??? I've never seen one. If so what's the model number? Look at this on UTUBE:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dOlLSb55Rk

Paul.

Thanks for all of the help. Kinda afraid to start this as it seems so complicated with the mesh of wiring and cables underneath. The jpeg on installing the radio head was very interesting....I wish I had more verbage in install and remove....is there anymore info on that or perhaps a manual I could buy with this in it?

I have a 1940 Packard 160 Conv Sedan with the deluxe radio. I was wanting to get it working and refurbished but it looks like a bear to get it out of the dash. Any tips on how to do this?? See attachments, two of radio front, one as you dip below the dash, and one shot of under the dash. Thanks in advance for any help on this...I'm lost. Paul
