Hello all,
anyone have or know how to replace the spring on the door latch? It seems straight forward, however I may not have the correct spring or maybe there is special tool to set the spring in the right position so it hold tension against the latch.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you Roberto

The latches are made by English & Mersick. It's been years since I replaced a spring in one of them but it was simple and very obvious just by looking at the latch mechanism. No special tools needed other than what you'd have in a well-equipped home shop. Wish I could give more detail, but really it's just a very basic and simple job - go to it.
