I would like to stop the rust that is continually getting into my fuel pumps fuel bowl and secondary fuel filter by stopping the rust in my vacuum fuel pump.

I have a fuel sealing kit by Bill Hirsch but was wondering if just coating the inside of the tank with zinc phosphate a good solution?
