Can some one help to identify this part # 872573 & 74

R/H & L/H spare tire mounting brkts

Almost certainly not a part number but rather a forging number as a subassembly to a finished part. I don't believe Packard never had 6-digit part numbers in that series. Also likely Packard wasn't the maker of that piece, the "D" is probably an outside vendor's trademark.

I suspect you're going to have to identify them by appearance and not by number. A couple of parts vendors that frequent this site will no doubt have an answer.
