It doesn't look particularly bad though the pictures don't really give a good view of the profile; I'd bet prior owners were a bit negligent about using cam lubricant. Modern nylon rubbing blocks will perform just fine on this, from what I can see. The old bakelite rubbing blocks won't have quite as nice a time. If in doubt, set it up on a Sun machine and check for variation in the firing intervals.
You could probably get away quite nicely by leaving it alone, but I'd use a buffing wheel with very fine abrasive just ever so gently to remove any sharp edges there might be but don't go so far as to try to remove the wear pattern - not necessary - and be very careful not to alter the ramp or tip profile.
