Of course whitewalls on higher priced cars were more prevalent. If you really wanted to flaunt it you got double whitewalls! Not that it reflects what the public actually bought but your post prompted me to look at the 1934 and 1935 Eight showroom catalogs:

1934: 12 with whitewalls, 1 with blackwalls.
1935; 7 with whitewalls, 3 with blackwalls.
