Got the engine running again. The carb was flooding so I took that apart and freed up the float. It sounds surprisingly good and smooth .Let it run a while and most of the marvel mystery oil is burned out of the cylinders. The coil died about 10 minutes in when it was running put another one on that I had laying around and it fired back up.The oil pressure is 40 psi hot.And the radiator Did not run hot.It had an old atlas battery in it I will try to add a picture. The generator was not charging if you have any Ideas let me know. The guy that i bought this off of said his dad stopped working on the car in 1954 or 1955.The best thing about the car is it was inside a nice garage the entire time. Thanks again for the help
Assuming the wiring is intact and correct you can diagnose your charging system by temporarily grounding the "F" (field) terminal at the generator regulator. If you then have charging, the regulator is at fault. If not its almost certainly the generator.
