LED'S 6V for positive ground autos

I have a '42 Packard 160 that uses a 1154 bulb both front & back. I ordered some LED's from Ledlights.com but the driving tail lights do not work. Time was spent to figure out why. It was found that there cannot be hardly any load on the turn signal side of the LED. I have two other 1154's in the front fender lights as well as indicator lights under the dash. I do not want to get under the dash to replace these. I don't know why their LED's have this interaction between the two LED terminals. Has anyone installed any LED's in a similar Packard such as mine? What was your experience? I do have an electronic flasher installed that will work with LED's or a combination of both. Sure would like to use LED's if I could find a different mfg than what ledlight is using.

Hi,

We put a lot of information in reply to your previous thread:

Also you might want to contact Bruce Blevins of Motor City Packards, as he has been working on alternate sources:

But the bulbs I purchased from LEDLights worked for me after I put in the flasher, though I didn't get an 1154 yet.

Don’t forget that for taillights you must use red bulbs and for any cars with amber fronts, you must use amber bulbs. If you use regular white, they will be too bright and make the red lenses look pink!

But yes, this is already being discussed in your earlier thread so no need to repeat it in a second one..

Yes sorry I am not too computer savvy.
Unfortunately none of the replies related to my dilemma. I have everything including the LED flasher to allow the LED's to work. But cannot find one that will. Still hoping I can find a mfg that has one that will work. I needed to find someone who has installed some in their Packard to find out where they purchased them from to give it another try. The ones from ledlights will not work.
