So that I dont buy an incorrect item is this the correct badge for the 55 Pat grill?

HH56 yours looks like the 48 - 50 grille emblem

thanx Howard, that is what I was thinking. This is all gold, no ceramic, and the pins are in the wrong location. These are listed as NOS but I call BS. I bought a bad emblem before and I dont want to waste money again. Thanx

I honestly don't know where mine came from other than it was in with a box of gold rings and chrome Vs. labeled V8 stuff. It could well be the early piece and I would give a lot of credence to bkazmers ID. I removed the post for that reason to avoid confusing anyone else. If anyone has a 55, a quick measurement would be very helpful as well as how the studs are oriented.

Since the emblem on ebay is from a regular Packard vendor it probably is correct but someone else will have to say. I don't have any detailed photos of a 55 grill or a ring to know where the studs on that new emblem would go. With the studs it is not the roof quarter piece.

Bkazmer is correct. Mine was the earlier emblem. David happens to have the identical item for sale labeled as 48-50.
