very impressed with the bodywork. Looks like you saved one most of us couldn't. Love the orange. Not so sure about the dark grey top--how 'bout cream so the car looks like a Dreamscicle?

IT mite help if u resize pics to something like 200 to 700 KB instead of those huge 1800 KB's.
IDK. In my case they load very slowly and do not complete due to time out. But then again, maybe i'm the only one with ISP equipment that has that problem.

While I am not a fan of non Packard powered vehicles, I applaud the work you have done. I also like the help.

TRUST ME !!!!!!!!!!!! i did want to keep the packard drive train. i dumped a lot of time and money into it but its just to much more money. to make it what im looking for it needs to be rebuilt it was froze up when i got it. and i was able to get it unstuck but i think the rings are bad. it just dont have any power and the cost to rebuild the packard engine is more than i have sorry. so i had a extra racing engine in the back of my garage when i use to race so that was my next step to be able to enjoy my packard.i have spent a lot of money on the body trim and wheels/tires. aswell as time i have been working on this car sense last summer evry weekend from sun up to well past sun down. aswell as some weekdays my wife is ready to make me move out into my garage and get a second job lol and im only 1/2 way there. so dont hate me for the engine swap im just trying to make a fun and enjoyable hot hot i can pass down to my sons. thank you al hizer

You've apparently done a nice job on the sheet metal and body prep, gotten your sons involved and are ready for paint. The best part is that otherwise this Clipper would be at the scrap dealer by now. Nice home made rear axle hub puller, BTW. I'm looking forward to additional pix/posts on your project. Craig

Al,
It is your car, so you do not need to worry about what my opinion is. I think it is great that you have brought back a car that was probably going to be crushed. I am always interested in making the original drivetrain work, but it has to make cents! I also look forward to following your progress.
