Many thanks to Dick Moore from Ankara industries for his sponsorship of this event, he is our across the street neighbor at the Stahls Auto museum and a great guy.

Just a reminder that the Packard Proving Grounds Open House is tomorrow from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The weather forecast is for highs in the mid-fifties and only a 10% chance of rain - possibility the last nice weekend for a long time. Hope to see you there.

Well Steve, since you asked..........
We were MOBBED! About 34 Packards showed up and something like 350 collector cars came for the cruise-in. It would not surprise me if we had 1,500 people show up for the afternoon. The gals in the bake sale and the gift shop were doing land office business. Our food vendor ran out of sausages and hot dogs and had to go back to their store twice to resupply. The Johnny Trudell Band kept things hopping all courtesy of Dick Moore at Ankara Industries. The band now wants to cut a CD inside the test garage as they think the acoustics are perfect for them. There were so many people it was difficult to get pictures of the cars without someone in the way. You guys should have been there. I'll let you guys guess as to the year and model of the Packards shown. Hi Roger
Wow, Thanks for the pictures, looks like it was a great time! I would loved to have been there! It's heartening to know that PPG events have turned into such popular and well-attended occasions. Steve
