In the process of rebuilding a Carter wcfb 4-barrel for a 53 Cavalier, we realized the high idle link arm is missing. Any thoughts on where we might come across one without having to hunt down a whole carburetor?

Try one of the carb kit vendors, for instance I got my kit from Mike's Carburetor Parts and I think he has parts available too. Other places have bits and pieces too I'm sure, just google around. Kanter and Max M likely have parts too, although their catalogs tend to stress assemblies for accessories.

We should have one available,if you have not located one as of yet. I recommend that you call Stu or Charod in our Packard Department. They should be able to assist you.
