The engine section of service manual would be a good start. Most if not all of the information you will need is covered and it can be downloaded herepackardinfo.com/xoops/html/downloads/41_48EngineManual.pdf

You can print pertinent pages or sections as needed but to print it all might get expensive. All of the other sections are available on site to download but if you want a complete 46-50 service manual in paper, Kanters or Faxon Auto Literature among others have reprints of the manual for sale.
