Hi...

I'm curious if there's a cross reference to track down the bendix unit in the Delco Remy starters for 1953 Caveliers ( 327 / automatic transmission)

Just hoping to save a little time, without having to order and wait a couple weeks. Mine's got a bad spring, so I need to replace it before the flywheel takes a beating.

Good Morning...NAPA may still be able to run down the Bendix Spring part number for you. You can also obtain one from Max Merritt 317-736-6233, or any of the other Packard Parts Suppliers. Ernie
