I want to paint the intake and exhaust manifolds with ceramic header paint.

The exhaust manifold will be painted cast iron but I need to know the color of the intake.

Also...does anyone have engine detail pictures that they are willing to share?

THANKS!!!

Both manifolds were originally "naked", as cast. For the purposes of judging at least one of the two Packard clubs accepts the intake manifold painted in flat or semigloss black.

For the exhaust manifold, I've found the Eastwood stainless steel high temp exhaust manifold paint to give an excellent simulation of fresh cast iron, and if the manifold is clean before preparation you can expect it to remain quite nice for many years.

Thanks Owen,

I sand blasted down to bare metal and am going with VHT Cast Iron two step process (primer then paint).
