I own a 48 Packard station wagon. The door sill plates need to be refinished. I assume they should be painted. Should they be painted black or?

Thanks

Aren't they black rubber like the rest of the car line?

Marvin King at Patrician has them. They are pricey, but available.

Personally, I'm looking for an inexpensive alternative. I just can't afford to pay that much for the "PACKARD" to be molded into the rubber.

Thanks for the information.

My sill plates are ribbed and appear to be steel as they are rusted.

How would I contact Marvin King?

thanks
