Fuel Pump Re-built!

Finally recieved the re-build kit yesterday, and was able to get it taken apart, and put back together in an hour and a half. The valves were in suprisingly good condition. But I still replaced them to make sure I get the best service possible. And as I suspected, the fuel diaphragm was torn up pretty bad. No wonder she was spittin' fuel out like it tasted bad!
I will have some photos posted when my computer stops running slow... Oh, and in other news, the generator seems to be putting out current. When I started it the other day, the battery light went out. All it took was cleaning up the commutator and brushes! -Garrett Attach file: (126.61 KB) (129.94 KB) (125.54 KB) (139.63 KB) (141.69 KB) (66.13 KB) (69.43 KB) (82.83 KB) (62.81 KB) (79.64 KB) (53.10 KB) (72.24 KB) (77.18 KB) (66.81 KB) (68.24 KB) (67.97 KB) (63.78 KB) (70.63 KB) (74.00 KB)

I got my re-build kit from Max Merrit. It shipped to my house very fast, and that was with standard ground shipping. This is the first time I have ordered from them, and I am definitely pleased.
