Bob Berg made 6 sets of theses tools from blue prints. I bought mine from him at the last PAC meet in Kansas City.
EDIT: see Henry Greene 55 clipper project to see tool in action.

anyone up on hardening cold roll metal,?
making rr tl tool, does the bar need to be harden?,,, the whole bar or the curve...need to harden... thanks rik

Not familiar with any metal treatment. So I guess cutting it from a flat steel plate and welding them up until the right thickness wouldn't work?

let the ride,
that's what I am thinking now, get 3/4 flat sheet, and cut the whole thing out, also thinking of using 3/4 sq. which I can bend, make 2. bolt them together, and weld the seams,, the weld would stiffing it up,
