Any info where would be the best place to put jack stands on the 55 pat.Would be too much rear end sag if the stands are on the frame rails? Thanks.

I had mine on stands for six months. Front I put just behind the firewall, and the Rear, just in front of the rear wheel. I then put two tall jacks towards the rear in the trunk area to keep the car level as my pat tends to settle rear low on the TL system.

Though I haven't had my 56 convertible on jack stands for as long as Troy, I support it inexactly the same way, though without the extra support at the rear which he mentions, no issues. Even with the convertible body there is no apparent hogging, the doors open and close normally though no doubt aided by the heavily reinforced frame the convertibles had.

But if the work you're doing doesn't require it to be suspended by the frame, for prolonged times I'd support it by the front A-frames and rear axle tubes.
