whats my problem, primed with 2qt oil, had to add 4 more qts to bring to full mark, it was a 1/2 inch that line, as i remember its 5 qts for that engine,,same dip stick and tube

radiator blew on this install, 450 bucks,,new core, i looked at ford one, 220, for that but its a 2 row. and only 19 inches wide...

If you changed the filter cartridge you'd need an extra quart - possibly that's the explanation.
