I dont find a post about this, has anyone replaced the shaft seals on their rack? Its the vertical shaft that the steering arm (I call it a pittman) attaches to the steering box and moves the internal rack.

Does anyone know if I can just pull that connected arm, pull the seal and install new and reattach? Bottom just has a nut that needs to be pulled then the seal can be removed and replaced.

No leaks on either horizontal end of the rack so I'm only doing these.

Any info and tips appreciated!
