Trunk does look great. Would you mind sharing the source and pattern or application for the covering.

Hi My name is Mike and if you've seen the registry I also own a 1955 400 Hardtop-I just wonder where you got the trunk material, How many yards did it take and what was the final cost. You could email me back at M.Wauhop@att.net I would appreciate the info.

Guys:
baileysfabricandsupplies.com/ I bought the trunk fabric at Bailey's Fabrics in Tucson AZ. I bought about 8 yards (over-kill) and paid somewhere in the area less than $12 dollars a yard if memory serves. The material is called Houndstooth Black/White (BCS-3). The material was attached to an inexpensive (2 sided) sound-deadening material and cut and templated as near as possible to look like the remnants that remained in my old '55 parts Patrician. Thereafter all was glued into place. Hope this helps you all.
