I am looking for someone to repair the transmission of my 56 Caribbean. I have a rough shift between 40 and 45 MPH and a master seal leak. Does anyone know who makes repairs to Packard transmissions?

As usual, this is a great forum and thank you for your answers.

Scott

Geeze! Wish we had known about you when looking for a mechanic for our 56 Packard! You aren't really that far from Palmetto, GA. We have been able to straighten out most of the problems inflicted by a mechanic who was touted as a good Packard technician. What a horror story. Contact information, please, for future reference and for others in the Atlanta/Chattanooga area.

While there may be other knowledgeable ultramatic mechanics that I don't know of, Would suggest Ross or Peter Fitch of ULTRAMATIC DYNAMICS in Fredericksburg, VA. 540-846-5309
