As most of you know I travel alot for business, so I will use this thread to post any of the locations and dates of my travel in the event anyone wants to get together and talk Packards.

October 24-26th (Fri-Sun) > Carol Stream, IL.
My wife and I will be in the area to visit with a group of friends. But I may have time during the days as most of the planned activites are in the evening.

You will be in my neck of the woods. I may or may not be around but if I am would you like to get together. Put a face to screen name. That is if you have time too.

Sat or Sun during the day would be the best times. Send me a PM if you will have any free time on either of those days.

BigKev made it to our house today. What a nice young fellow. We sat an chatted for about 2 hrs or so. I tell ya he sure has a lot of knowledge on our beloved Packard's.

It was nice to meet you and to put a face to a screen name. Thanks for taking time out from your other activities to come down and visit. Next time your out this way and I have Old Bessie up and running we will have to go out for a drive.

Hope you and your wife had a safe trip back home.

One more thing send some of the warm California weather back this way :)

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. It was very nice to met you and your wife.

Cant wait to see your '31 all completed. It was nice to see how the earlier Packards were put together as I have never seen a wood framed body at the point where you could see all the framing. It's going to be a fine looking automobile when all said and done.

Well the weather was not too bad for us. As we were sitting at Ohare waiting for out flight it started to flurry snow for about 15 mins. When we landed in Calif, it was 72 degrees at 9:30 in the evening. So it was a bit of temp shift!

I took the wife into Chicago for Deep Dish pizza, and a little sightseeing up Lake Shore drive. While windy, it was bright and sunny. So we got lots of good pictures.

Just thought I would update this with known planned travel coming up:

Orlando, FL -2nd Week in January
Orange, CA - Last weekend of January for PI SwapMeet

Also somewhere in late January or early February I should be in northern New Jersey.

So if anyone is will be in the area during those times, and work like to get together and chit-chat about Packards, then please let me know.

Glad to see you safe at home for Christmas. Also good to see you take the management with you. I had the chance to do that and enjoyed it every time.

Dates are firmed up on the Orlando Trip:

Friday, January 9th through Wednesday the 14th.

If anyone is in the area and wants to shop talk abiout Packards, then just let me know.
