We are currently in Oxnard, CA and just discovered that Murphy's is currently having a Packard exhibit, which is over at the end of the month. Unfortunately, their normal days do not coincide when we will be here! Writing just in case there might be someone who can get us in for a quick run-through. I know it's late notice and not likely to happen but I thought it worth it to ask!

We never did manage to get in but the gates were open so we looked in through the window where the lobby had a couple Avantis. The outside wall was adorned with this slice of a 1955 Packard Clipper complete with smiling family looking out through the windows.

No, the old Chandler building is nearby and home to the private Mullin Museum and was the reason we were in town to see the special Citro?n display.

Couldn't get in because it's a private museum with only very limited public hours and none during the week when we were there. Their next day open was a Friday but we left Wednesday. Posted here as soon as we discovered it to try to pull some strings and even asked at Mullin but nothing came of it.

Yes, it was a slice of a real 1955 Clipper.

Here's a shot at an angle where it shows more clearly as a real car. The building appears to have once been used by a TV station as the towers in front were remainders of broadcast antenna.
