hi there i have just purchased a 1936 packard 8,7 seater and have no log book for the car and i have no plates to id the car, i have taken all the numbers from the car that i can find but i dont know what number would be used as a vin number to apply for a log book here are the numbers
firewall no 226195
14th body number 378
lenard williams london ltd
date 1/4/36
i have had a good look at the plate which is very dirty and this is all the stamped info,i have had a look on the forums etc does the 36 not have a vin,
the car has 3 engines all in bits and i would like to find out which engine is the original for the car many thanks dave
